Total Tots Morecambe is registered for 37 children and the setting is based inside Balmoral Children's Centre.
The day nursery has three separate rooms for 0-2 year olds, 2-3 year olds and 3-4 year olds and each room has areas of continuous provision which children are able to 
access independently. The rooms have direct access to a large outdoor play area equipped with resources to promote learning in all areas of development.
The day nursery work closely with other professionals such as outreach workers and
health visitors Our pre-school is integrated with the Sandlands School Nursery.
Children are provided with stimulating activities daily, and each room has areas of continuous provision that is available both indoor and outdoors such as painting, sand, construction, role play, water, creative workshop, quite book area, malleable, small world and mark making which children are able to access independently.
The latest OFSTED Inspection (2009) quotes:
"The inclusion of each child is a priority at this nursery. The dedicated team of staff have established a very effective provision for children in the short time it has been operating. This is due to the high expectations of leaders and managers."
"Childrens confidence and self-esteem are fostered well by skilful staff who focus on positive reinforcement and praise. Relationships are good across the nursery and children move confidently between activities."
"Staff are keen to follow childrens interests and build on their ideas as they chat with them, for example, they make suggestions and encourage problem solving and critical thinking."
"The smiles and hugs between staff and children indicate how much they enjoy their time at the nursery."
