Louise Nolan - Managing Director of Total Tots Limited

I am a qualified Level 3 NNEB and have always had a passion to open a day nursery.  I worked in several local nurseries gaining the experience needed to reach my goal and in 2003 Total Tots Lancaster opened its doors.  Following this great success and popular demand we opened our second site in Morecambe in 2008.  I oversee both nursery settings and work closely with the management teams to ensure our nurseries are happy, safe, stimulating and welcoming for children and families.  I have a daughter and a son who both attend the settings.


Kara Nwidobie-Sharpe - Nursery Manager of Total Tots Lancaster


I have been employed at Total Tots since June 2003 when the nursery first opened its doors.  I have worked accross all age groups from 0-4 years, starting as a senior member of staff, progressing to deputy in 2005 and manager in 2008.  During this time I have had three short periods of leave to compete in the Commonwealth Games, Melbourne 2006 and for filming as a Gladiator (Panther) in 2008 and 2009.  I work four days a week 7.30-6.00pm.  I am NNEB trained and have completed my NVQ level 4.  I recently led Total Tots Lancaster in gaining the Lancashire Quality Award.



Alison Kay - Nursery Supervisor of Total Tots Lancaster


I have been at Total Tots since April 2006 and have worked as a nursery practitioner across all age groups, spending the majority of time among 0-3 years.
After two years at nursery I became Senior Practitioner of the 2-3 years class, before changing rooms and moving into the 0-2 years age group just over twelve months ago.
I have recently been given the Nursery Supervisor role and also work alongside children with learning difficulties as Nursery SENCO.

I came to Total Tots in August 2007 and have been Pre-School Manager since November 2008, although I have worked across all other age groups prior to this as Senior Practitioner.
During my time at Total Tots I have completed my Foundation Degree in Integrated Education and Care of Children and Young People, and recently recieved my BA Hons in Children, Schools and Families.
My new role as Head of EYFS enables me to work alongside and support other practitioners, to ensure we are continually providing a stimulating and happy environment for the children.

Kirsty Liver - Nursery Manager of Total Tots Morecambe


I joined the Total Tots team in October 2004 as a Nursery Assistant and during my initial years with the company I worked with all age groups at the Lancaster site and progressed to become a senior practitioner.  In 2008 I completed my NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development and was promoted to Deputy Manager of Lancaster.  In October 2010 I tranferred to Morecambe Total Tots, initially to cover the Manager's maternity leave, however this became my permenant role in January 2011.  I work 4 days per week from 7.30am till 6.00pm.  I have also completed my NVQ Level 4 in Children's Care, Learning and Development during my time at Morecambe Total Tots.

I first came to Total Tots on a voluntary basis in July 2008, which led to me being offered the position of a nursery assistant, where I worked accross all age groups in the nursery.  I completed my NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development in July 2009 and soon after progressed on to becoming senior practitioner of the 0-2year old room.  I was promoted to acting deputy manager (covering maternity leave) in April 2010 and was also overseeing the 0-2 year old and 2-3 year old room as senior practitioner.  I am now permenantly the Deputy Nursery Manager and have completed my NVQ Level 4 in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
