BABY ROOM

Our Baby room is an open plan learning environment, caring for up to 9 children per session, aged birth to 15 months on minimum ratio of 1:3. The Children experience a range of planned and free choice activities. There is a dedicated area for outdoor play and exploration. Children experience a range of planned and free choice activities and have access to external activities through the visiting Hartbeeps classes.

There are 3 sleeping cots, sleep mats and additional travel cots if needed.

15 MONTH - 2 YEARS

Our 15 months – 2 years nursery room, is lovey bright, open learning space with access to free flow play. This is an extension on from our baby nursery room and occasionally the rooms merge to share experiences. The Nursery garden is shared with children from our 2-3 year room, the area provides space for children to climb, run and explore. The nursery room cares for up to 12 children, on minimum ratio of 1:3. 

2-3's ROOM

Our 2-3’s nursery room cares for up to 16 children per session, with funded sessions available to families by eligibility.

Children have access to an outdoor area which they share with our under 2’s children. We have a dedicated team of staff, providing childcare at a minimum ratio of 1:4.

Children experience a range of planned and free choice activities and have access to external activities through the visiting Hartbeeps classes and swim school classes (optional from the age of 2½, additional cost, please see swim school information).

The children have access to small sinks and toilets to support toilet training, personal health & self-care skills.

PRESCHOOL AREA

Our large, bright Preschool area provides education and childcare for up to 32 children per session. Preschool runs on a minimum ratio of 1:8. Funded sessions are available for all children in the term following their 3^rd birthday.

Our dedicated preschool team provide a range of planned and free choice activities, to support children in developing their school readiness skills in preparation to move on to full time education. Children have visiting educational provision throughout the year, including weekly visits from Hartbeeps and Yoga Bears. These groups promote language skills, personal and social development and support their individual wellbeing. Swim school classes are also available optional (additional costs)

The children have access to their own outdoor area. There is a large mud kitchen and a small veggie patch. The outdoor space is an extension to the children’s indoor learning environment.
