0-2's (STARFISH)

Our 0-2’s is a lovely, bright, and open area, catering for up to 12 children per session, aged birth to 2 years. The 0-2’s children have access to an open plan room and to their own outdoor space to explore. We have a dedicated team of staff, all experienced in providing care for the youngest children at a minimum ratio of 1:3.

Children experience a range of planned and free choice activities and have access to external activities through the visiting Hartbeeps classes.

2-3's (SEAHORSES)

Our 2-3’s is in the heart of the nursery. This space caters for up to 15 children per session, with funded sessions available to families by eligibility. Children have access to a large outdoor area which they share with our preschool children. We have a dedicated team of staff, providing childcare at a minimum ratio of 1:4.

Children experience a range of planned and free choice activities and have access to external activities through the visiting Hartbeeps classes. Children have access to small sinks and toilets to support toilet training and personal health & self-care skills. Nappy change facilities are also available for those children not yet toileting.

3-4's (DOLPHINS)

Our large Preschool area provides education and childcare for up to 31 children per session. Funded sessions are available for all children in the term following their 3rd birthday. Our dedicated preschool team provide a range of planned and free choice activities, to support children in developing their school readiness skills in preparation to move on to full time education. Children have visiting educational provision throughout the year, including weekly visits from Hartbeeps and Yogabears, promoting language skills, personal and social development and emotional wellbeing. Our preschool area is split over 2 rooms and children also have access to a large outdoor area, which they share with our younger 2-3’s children. Preschool runs on a minimum ratio of 1:8.

Children have access to small sinks and toilets to support toilet training and personal health & self-care skills. Nappy change facilities are also available for those children not yet toileting.
