Story Time with a Purpose - Engaging picture books about tooth brushing and caring for our teeth help children learn in a playful, age-appropriate way.
Hands-On Learning - Children love role play! We use large-scale teeth and giant toothbrushes to let them practice brushing and explore dental care through fun, hands-on activities.
Real-Life Visits - Friendly local dentists visit our setting to chat with the children about toothbrushing and oral health. These visits help build familiarity and reduce fear of the dentist.
Positive Conversations - We encourage open, reassuring discussions that help children feel confident, not scared, about visiting the dentist and taking care of their teeth.
Healthy Meals & Snacks - We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks every day to support strong teeth and overall health. We limit sugar and encourage water and milk to drink.
Support for Families
We love working in partnership with parents! Through each child’s Evidence Me profile and, we share:

- Helpful videos and NHS links for guidance
- Ongoing updates and ideas to build strong routines together
