At Total Tots, we create positive, enabling environments where children are encouraged to respect and value others, celebrating diversity and learning in a supportive setting. Our approach promotes fundamental British values while fostering kindness, empathy, and understanding from an early age.


We are committed to valuing and respecting the rights of children and their families, promoting equality and diversity in everything we do. Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are fully supported, and our inclusive approach ensures every child can participate, learn, and thrive at their own pace.



Our team of practitioners brings a wide range of experiences, allowing us to tailor activities to meet the individual needs of each child. Through nurturing, play-based learning, we aim to help all children develop social skills, confidence.

CCTV


The nursery CCTV surveillance is intended for the purposes of:


Promoting the health and safety of children, staff and visitors

Protecting the nursery building and resources


The system comprises of fixed cameras. These are placed around the nursery, inside and outside, but not in the toilets or changing areas. This is to ensure the dignity of children is maintained. The use of CCTV to control the perimeter of the nursery for security purposes has been deemed to be justified by the nursery management. The system is intended to capture images of intruders or of individuals damaging property or removing goods without authorisation or of antisocial behaviour.


We have successfully been awarded ‘Millie’s Mark’, a Quality Mark for nurseries where are employees working

directly with children are trained in paediatric first aid. This has been awarded by National Day Nurseries Association

(NDNA) in association with Department for Education and Millie’s Trust.
